Liz Arcta

Application Engineer
Liz is an Application Engineer with over 10 years of experience in software implementation, as well as a background in higher ed and mental health. She holds a Master's degree in International Studies. ->

Liz began her career in the field of International Education and Study Abroad, earning a Master's degree in International Studies and working as a Study Abroad Program Coordinator at both the University of Oregon and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  She then made a career change into software and technology, helping create the tools used by Study Abroad and International Student offices at over 300 colleges and universities around the world.  Liz worked closely with university IT teams setting up integrations between cloud software and campus data systems.  She then transitioned into the custom web hosting and nonprofit fields, working as a project manager and technical consultant. Liz has a BA in English and Music from Macalester College, and an MA in International Studies from the University of Oregon.  She almost completed an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University.


Liz's current hyperfixation is gardening, although you wouldn't know it to look at her garden, which could generously be called a work-in-progress.  Other hobbies include old movies, Agatha Christie mystery books, karaoke, whale-watching and exploring the Oregon coast, and playing D&D with friends.
