In August, AidKit was honored to join OpenAI and the GitLab Foundation at the AI for Economic Opportunity Demo Day in San Francisco. The event spotlighted 14 groundbreaking projects that are using AI to address economic challenges, expand income mobility, and create new opportunities for millions. Alongside our partners at GiveDirectly, we presented Rx Kids, a first-of-its-kind citywide cash program in Flint, Michigan. Powered by Luna, our AI enrollment coach, Rx Kids simplifies access to direct cash support and federal benefits through conversational AI. In just 18 months, the program has enrolled more than 3,000 mothers, showing what’s possible when technology removes barriers instead of creating them.
